Alto to Host Jason Lezak Freestyle Clinic

Alto is excited to host a partner clinic with Olympic Gold Medalist, Jason Lezak! The clinic will be held at A very Aquatic Center this Saturday. See below for Lezak’s Career Highlights, as well as the video from his infamous anchor leg of the 4 x 100 Free Relay.

Jason Lezak’s Career Highlights:

  • Inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2019. 

  • Won eight Olympic medals including four gold, two silver, and two bronze.

  • Represented the United States in the 2000, 2004, 2008, and, finally, the 2012 Olympic Games at 36 years old.

  • Former World Record holder in the 4 x 100 Medley Relay.

  • Anchor of the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He orchestrated a come from behind victory, edging out the heavily favored French team, with the fastest 100 M relay split in swimming history (46.06). This result helped Michael Phelps secure his world record 8 Gold Medals in a single Olympics. Lezak’s anchoring leg helped set what is now the longest standing World Record. It is arguably the most iconic race in Olympic Swimming history, and it can be found below.
