Alto Senior Swimmer of the Month: Andy Cui

Andy Cui had a standout meet at Far Western Championships in April, including achieving his first Summer Junior National Cut in the 200 Y Freestyle with a best time of 1:37.92. Andy also achieved lifetime bests at the meet in the 200 Y IM, 400 Y IM, 100 Y Butterfly, 200 Y Butterfly, and 500 Y Freestyle.

Following Far Westerns, Andy has continued to perform throughout the high school season, including as an event winner at the SCVAL League Championships (200 IM, 200 Med Relay, 400 Fr Relay). He will be competing again this weekend at the high school CCS Championship Meet where he is racing the 200 and 500 Y Freestyle and the 200 and 400 Y Fr Relays .

Andy is in the National Group and has been swimming with the team for over ten years. Andy has attended a total of 223 training sessions so far this year with a 93% season attendance average.
