Alto Swimmers Shine and Break Records on the International Stage

Three of our Alto Swimmers, Tanishi Gupta, Maren Byrne, and Hailey Preuss, have made huge impacts in international competitions!

At the 2026 India Senior National Championships, Tanishi Gupta broke her own Indian national record in the 100 meter butterfly, setting a blistering time of 1:00.07! Her previous mark was 1:00.54 set at the Malaysia Open in Kuala Lumpur.

Maren Byrne represented Ireland at the European Junior Swimming Championships in Munich, Germany! Maren qualified for the semifinals in the 200 IM, clocking an impressive 2:18.20. She also set a personal best in the 100 freestyle with a 57.83.

Hailey Preuss swam for Puerto Rico at the 2026 Panam Aquatics Swimming Championships! She swam the 50, 100, and 200 breastroke, as well as the 200 IM.
