Alto Swim Club returns from Speedo Sectionals in Carlsbad, CA

Last week a select group of 25 Alto Swim Club athletes competed at the Speedo Sectionals in Carlsbad, California. Alto Swim Club placed 3rd in the medium team division with athletes from the National and Senior 2 groups combining to score over 900 points. ALTO athletes won 4 event titles including the men’s 400 freestyle relay with Shane Cadogan, Edward Tay, Barrett Heritage and Jonny Affeld. Affeld also captured wins in the 100 and 200 backstroke as well as the 400 Individual Medley where he established a new ALTO 17-18 team record in 3:49.02. Edward Tay also added his name to the ALTO record books with a 55.05 in the 17-18 100 breaststroke. Way to go ALTO!
