Alto’s SwimFit and Varsity Groups are the best Water Polo Conditioning Program around! These groups are designed for multi-sport conditioning with a strong emphasis on both skill development and training for fitness. New enrollment starts with a placement evaluation. Once group level is determined, it’s time to start working on endurance, speed and swimming technique!

Program Objectives

Located in Palo Alto, the Alto SwimFit and Varsity Groups target drills and skill-work. Better swimming skills means better preparation for the fast-paced, back-and-forth of a water polo game. Solid swimming skills are fundamental to becoming a successful water polo player and a good stroke is a valuable asset! This program focuses on developing excellent strength, power, speed, and endurance. Swimmers train to improve technique and efficiency in the competitive strokes and build strength through intervals and kick work.

Practice Schedule

SwimFit 1 - Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 3 - 3:45 PM
SwimFit 2 - Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 7 - 8 PM
SwimFit 3 - Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 PM

Varsity - Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 PM
