Alto Dec Age Group Swimmer of the Month: Ian Sun
Ian Sun joined Alto in 2022 and has consistently excelled in his swimming journey under the guidance of Coach Richie in Age Group Silver and Age Group Gold. His dedication and talent were on full display at the Age Group Championships this past December, where he achieved remarkable results. Ian was the event champion in the 50, 100, and 200 Fly as well as secured a 3rd-place finish in the 500 Free, earned 2nd place in the 200 Free, and capped off his performance with another 2nd place in the challenging 1650 Free. These accomplishments highlight Ian’s relentless determination and commitment to his sport.
Ian’s work ethic extends beyond competition. In December, he demonstrated exceptional dedication by attending 100% of practices, contributing to an impressive yearly attendance average of 92%. This level of commitment not only reflects his passion for swimming but also sets a strong example for his teammates.
We are incredibly proud of Ian’s achievements and grateful for his continued hard work. His presence in the Alto family strengthens our team, and we look forward to seeing him reach new heights in the seasons to come.
