Swimmer of the Month - May 2025
Jinu is in his seventh year with Alto, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything he has accomplished. A graduating senior, Jinu will be heading to Boston University this fall to begin his next chapter.
Jinu trains in our National Group with Coach Joey and Coach Alec. He has been a consistent force on the team and a real leader in the group. Jinu is always showing up and giving his best. His dedication is evident through his over 90% practice attendance and the respect and admiration he’s earned from his teammates.
This high school season, Jinu had a standout performance at CCS, where he finaled in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Free Relay. He kept the momentum going at CIF State Championships, placing 11th in the 50 Free and 14th in the 400 Free Relay.
Jinu brings grit and leadership to the pool. He leads by example, works hard every day, and continually strives for improvement. These qualities will no doubt lead him to continued success at the collegiate level.
Congratulations, Jinu! We are so thankful to have been part of your journey over the past seven years. Alto will always be cheering you on!
The most challenging workout with Alto was the death by relay at OTC where I averaged 59.7s while suited up. It was a very long day that day, but I’m glad I got to finish it. I could not have done it without my teammates
My favorite teammate memory from this season is when Andy came back from a break and dropped a 19.6 on a relay
