A huge round of applause to all the swimmers in our SwimFit, MiniFit, and Varsity groups who participated in their very first time trial! It was a massive success, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing support of our parent volunteers who helped record times—thank you!
What are Time Trials?
Time trials are an exciting way for swimmers to gauge their progress. Unlike a traditional swim meet, the focus is on racing the clock rather than competing against other swimmers. These practice races provide valuable feedback and allow athletes to see how much they’ve improved over time.
The Purpose of Time Trials for Our Fitness Groups
Our Fitness Groups—comprising SwimFit, MiniFit, and Varsity—are designed to cater to swimmers with a variety of goals. Whether you're aiming to join our competitive team, maintaining fitness, or cross-training for another sport, the time trials give everyone a chance to get up and race. It’s a great way for athletes to track their progression throughout the year and build confidence in a race setting.
