We want to wish the happiest of birthdays to Coach Dustin! Thank you for everything you do for Alto. Your energy, dedication, and commitment to our swimmers go above and beyond every single day.

Along with coaching our Senior 2 group, Coach Dustin also serves as the Head Coach of the Gunn High School swim team, where he continues to inspire athletes both in and out of the pool. His leadership and expertise have helped guide countless swimmers to reach new levels of success, including Sectionals, CCS, CIF, Age Group Championships, and Far Westerns.

Since joining Alto in 2021, Coach Dustin has been an integral part of our program bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and a true love for the sport. His impact on our swimmers is evident not only through their achievements but also in the supportive, hardworking environment he creates at every practice.

Fun Facts about Coach Dustin!

-Favorite Alto Memory:  Coach Joey asked me to collect all 35 athletes' cell phones on a training trip before bed, but he also had the kids all set alarms for 10:00pm to go off.  They were all waiting outside my room and it was hilarious.

-Favorite Swim Memory:  Finishing fourth in the 1650 at Conference USA Champs my junior year of college.  Go Bows!

-Favorite Olympian/Role Model: Steve Prefontaine 

-Hobbies: Guitar, surfing, cooking,

-Favorite Music: Classic rock/blues/pop/roots

-Favorite Books: Rainbow Six

-Favorite Cuisine: Japanese or Italian.
