October 2026 Senior Swimmer of the Month: Lucas Chen

Lucas joined Alto last year and has been making a tremendous impact on the team. He trains in the Senior 1 Group with Coach Laura and Coach Jack. Lucas works incredibly hard in practice, pays close attention to detail, and is an supportive teammate.

At the first stop of the Alto Grand Prix, Lucas went 100% best times, winning the 50 freestyle and the 50 backstroke against a competitive field. Lucas’s 50 free moved him up to 8th in the Alto All-Time Rankings for the 11-12 age group.

Most challenging Alto workout: the mile set in Age Group Gold.
Favorite meet with Alto: Lost Dutchman Invite in Arizona.
Favorite movie: Interstellar

Congratulations, Lucas!
