October 2026 Age Group Swimmer of the Month: Mina Taylor

Mina has swum with Alto since 2022 and has shown great improvement over her time with the team! Mina currently swims in Age Group Gold with Coach Richie. Over the last year, Mina has qualified for Age Group Champs and Far Westerns.

This month, during the first round of the Alto Grand Prix, Mina was the point leader in the 12-year-old women's category. Mina competed spectacularly in all of her events, placing 4th in the 50 fly, 3rd in the 50 free, and taking second in both the 50 back and breast.

Minas’ improvements are without question due to her dedicated work ethic and attendance. Mina was part of Altos 100% Club, attending every practice throughout September, where she brought 100% effort every practice, reminding us all that there are no shortcuts!

Way to go, Mina, keep up the hard work!
